Woodward County crash on US-270 Sunday morning leaves 19-year-old dead
One person is dead after a head-on collision in Woodward County on Sunday morning. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a 19-year-old, Noel Almandarez from Laverne, was heading south on US-270 south of Anderson Road when they cut across the center turning lane and hit another vehicle head-on. Almandarez died from injuries sustained in the crash. The driver of the second vehicle was not injured.
