Woman's death in Monroe County crash confirmed by authorities.
A tragic incident took place in Barrett Township, Monroe County on Saturday night resulting in the loss of a woman's life after a collision. The Pocono Mountain Regional Police responded to a crash on Route 447 between Long Road and Gravel Road around 7:20 p.m. that evening. Monroe County Coroner Tom Yanac has confirmed the fatality.
