Woman to face trial for deadly Warren crash and assaulting officer

A woman accused of causing a deadly crash and biting a Warren police officer during her arrest is now set to face trial. Diamond Glenn, 28, from Harrison Township, has been ordered to stand trial on charges of homicide, attempted failure to stop at the scene of an accident, and assaulting a police officer. Last December, Glenn was driving a Ford Escape when she collided with a Chevrolet Silverado in Macomb County. The incident led to the death of 69-year-old Christopher Andelean, the driver of the Silverado. After the crash, Glenn allegedly attempted to flee but was stopped by a witness before police arrived. Upon their arrival, Glenn reportedly bit one of the officers. Macomb County Prosecutor Pete Lucido emphasized the tragic outcomes of reckless driving and highlighted his office's dedication to seeking justice for the victim and their family. Glenn is scheduled for arraignment in Macomb County Circuit Court on September 18th.
