Woman taken into custody after causing fatal motorcycle accident in East El Paso

A 20-year-old woman in El Paso, Texas has been taken into custody by the police on a manslaughter charge in connection with a fatal crash that occurred last month. The woman, Marissa Arlene Dominguez, was arrested following an incident on August 31 that resulted in the death of a motorcyclist identified as 48-year-old Alejandro Rodriguez. Dominguez was placed under a $100,000 bond after her arrest on September 11 and is currently being held at the El Paso County Detention Facility. The tragic crash took place around 2:30 a.m. on August 31, on Interstate 10 West at Don Haskins, involving a motorcycle and a vehicle. The collision led to Rodriguez being thrown from his motorcycle and unfortunately losing his life at the scene. The Police Department's Special Traffic Investigations Unit conducted an extensive investigation into the incident, which ultimately led to the arrest of Dominguez.
