Woman rescued by maintenance worker after fiery rollover Tesla crash at Millerton

A woman is in the hospital after being rescued from a fiery rollover crash on Tuesday morning in Fresno County. CHP says they were first called to the crash on Millerton Road, between Friant Road and Auberry Road. When crews arrived, they found a car on fire. Initial investigations show that a woman was driving a Tesla at an unknown speed when she crashed into a tree. The Tesla then flipped over and burst into flames. The woman was rescued by a State Parks maintenance worker who ran to pull the woman out of the burning car. The woman was rushed to the hospital by helicopter with burns and head injuries. The maintenance worker was also taken to the hospital to be treated. The fire spread about 8 acres before firefighters were able to put it out. CHP says most of the car was burnt down to ashes.
