Woman, minor injured in New Circle Road crash
LEXINGTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — Two people were injured in a single-vehicle crash Monday on a frequently traveled Lexington roadway. The Lexington Fire Department told FOX 56 that a woman and a male minor had to be extracted from the crash near Georgetown Road and Leestown Road. They were taken to an area hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The roadway had to be briefly shut down before reopening again, according to officials. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
