Woman killed on e-bike killed in early morning crash in Baldwinsville
A woman riding an e-bike was killed early Friday morning after colliding with a car in the Village of Baldwinsville, the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office said. The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. on Syracuse Street near Grove Street. Investigators sid a car was heading north on Syracuse Street when the e-bike rider, traveling south against traffic, swerved into the driving lane and into the car's path. Greater Baldwinsville Ambulance Corps pronounced the woman dead at the scene. Her name was not released. The driver of the car stayed put, wasn't hurt and is cooperating with investigators, the sheriff's office said. Baldwinsville Police and the New York State Police and GBAC Ambulance also responded. The sheriff's office says the investigation is still active.
