Woman killed in multiple vehicle collision due to disregarding stop sign, according to authorities
A tragic incident occurred on late Sunday night in the Pleasant Grove area in Dallas, leading to the death of a woman. According to Dallas police, the woman passed away after reportedly running a stop sign and triggering a multi-vehicle collision at the intersection of S. Masters Drive and Old Seagoville Road before 11 p.m. Police arrived at the scene to find the woman, who had been ejected from her Chevrolet Malibu, lying on the road and pronounced her deceased. The crash occurred when she failed to stop at the stop sign and collided with an SUV, causing her car to spin and hit another vehicle. The woman was alone in her vehicle, while the occupants of the other vehicles involved were unharmed. Although it is early in the investigation, authorities do not expect to press criminal charges. The Dallas County Medical Examiner's office has yet to release the identity of the deceased woman.
