
Woman injured in downtown crash involving IndyGo bus
INDIANAPOLIS -- An IndyGo bus was reportedly in a personal injury accident involving a pedestrian on Wednesday morning in downtown Indianapolis. Officials responded to the area of West Vermont Street and Indiana Avenue at around 8:01 a.m. on Wednesday in reference to the accident. According to officials, the pedestrian was identified as an adult woman and was transported to an area hospital. The woman was awake and breathing. IndyGo officials said that the roadway is open in all directions. An IndyGo supervisor is also on the scene of the accident. In a statement from IndyGo, the accident is under investigation by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. This story will be updated as more information becomes available.
