Woman high on cocaine sentenced to prison for fatal Ogle County motorcycle crash
OREGON, Ill. (WTVO) — Amy Anthenat, 50, has been sentenced to 5 years in prison for killing a motorcyclist in a crash while she was high on cocaine. On June 19, 2022, Ogle County Sheriff's Deputies were called to Illinois 64 and Mulford Road for a crash involving a truck and a motorcycle. Police said Anethat was driving north and did not stop at the intersection. She later tested positive for cocaine in her system. The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. Anthenat pleaded guilty in October 2025 to charges of aggravated driving DUI resulting in great bodily harm. She was sentenced on February 11, 2026, and the sentence was imposed Friday, Ogle County State's Attorney Mike Rock said Friday.
