Woman from Vermont facing charges in deadly collision
A woman from St. Albans faces charges after a tragic head-on collision on U.S. Route 2 in North Hero. The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon and involved three vehicles. Authorities responded to the scene and determined that Ellen Willson had crossed into the opposite lane, leading to the collision. Unfortunately, one driver lost his life, while another sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. The road had to be closed for a few hours. Willson was arrested and taken to the St. Albans Barracks for processing, where she was cited for grossly negligent operation resulting in death and serious bodily injury. Vermont State Police urge any witnesses to contact the Barracks.
