Woman from Utica hurt in New Hartford crash
A woman from Utica was flown to the hospital by helicopter after a car hit her in New Hartford Village. Authorities are seeking information following the incident, which occurred in the parking lot of the New Hartford Presbyterian Church on Park Street around 9:20 pm on June 25. The victim, 82-year-old Barbara Wuest, sustained lower-body injuries, and was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse; fortunately, her injuries are serious but not life-threatening. The New Hartford Police Department's Criminal Investigation Division is handling the case, and they are urging anyone with details or who witnessed the crash to contact them at 315-724-7111.
