Woman charged with DUI after fatal crash in Fayette County
FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WVNS) -- A woman was charged with DUI after a fatal two-car crash in Fayette County on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. According to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to a report of a two-car accident near the intersection of Glen Ferris Loop and Route 60 just after 7:30 PM. Based on the initial investigation, a SUV allegedly drove onto Route 60 and crashed into a Jeep travelling westbound. Witness statements reportedly backed these findings. One passenger of the SUV was taken to the hospital where they were later pronounced dead. Their identity has not been released. People in the Jeep were also taken to the hospital for treatment.
