
Woman charged with additional offenses in deadly multi-car accident on West Gate City Boulevard, according to Greensboro police
In Greensboro, North Carolina, a woman is now facing additional charges following a recent crash that resulted in the death of a person involved, as reported by the Greensboro police. Betsabe Cano Santillo, 45, was driving a Toyota 4-runner on Groometown Road when she crossed the center line at a high speed and went through the intersection at West Gate City Boulevard. Despite having a red light, Santillo's vehicle collided with a Nissan Versa traveling east and then with a 1991 Honda Accord heading west on the same boulevard. Multiple individuals sustained injuries in the crash and were transported to local hospitals, with one individual, Michael Farrow, sustaining life-threatening injuries. Farrow unfortunately passed away on Saturday. Additionally, Santillo has been charged with manslaughter and misdemeanor death by vehicle, in addition to the initial charges of reckless driving, failure to stop at a red light, driving in the wrong direction on a dual lane highway, and failure to reduce speed. At present, she is held in the Guilford County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
