Woman and dog hurt in Largo home crash
A woman and her dog were hurt when a car collided with a house in Largo, Florida on Monday afternoon. The incident took place close to Oak Ridge Wesleyan Church around 2 p.m. According to reports from the Florida Highway Patrol, an elderly woman driving a Toyota Camry in the church parking lot accidentally accelerated instead of stopping, leading to the crash with the neighboring home. The driver sustained minor injuries and was brought to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, a resident inside the house was unscathed, but the dog in the home was injured and received medical attention from a local vet.
