Woman and dog hurt as car smashes into Florida house
A car accident occurred in Largo on Monday afternoon, causing injuries to a woman and a dog after the vehicle crashed into a home near Oak Ridge Wesleyan Church on 110th Avenue North. The 87-year-old woman driving the Toyota Camry mistakenly accelerated instead of stopping in the church parking lot, resulting in the accident. The driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. Fortunately, one resident in the house was unharmed, but a dog was injured and received treatment from a local veterinarian.
