Woman accused of not reporting deadly crash that killed Skyline employee
CINCINNATI (WKRC) — A local woman faced a judge Saturday morning after she allegedly did not report a deadly car crash that claimed the life of a well-known Harrison Skyline employee. Stormy Hampton was allegedly a passenger in the vehicle that struck and killed Jeff Muse in Harrison on June 20. Investigators said the driver, Tyler Black, was traveling at a high rate of speed along a stretch of Harrison Avenue when he hit Muse, knocking him off his bike. Court documents state Muse's hat was lodged in the front of the truck before falling off when the vehicle hit a curb. Police said Black stopped in a nearby parking lot, where he and two other people were seen getting out of the truck. Investigators said a passenger was seen removing pieces of the damaged front end of the truck before the group eventually left the area. Hampton faces charges of failure to report a crime. Black faces charges of aggravated vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of an accident.
