Woman accused of killing 2 Marquette lacrosse players in crash was allegedly intoxicated, according to prosecutors
A Wisconsin driver has been charged with vehicular homicide after being accused of causing a fatal crash that killed two Marquette University lacrosse players while driving under the influence of alcohol. Authorities allege that Amandria Brunner, 41, was drunk at the time of the accident. According to reports, the tragic incident took place in Milwaukee last week when Brunner attempted to make a left turn in front of a vehicle carrying six Marquette men's lacrosse players. Unfortunately, Scott Michaud and Noah Snyder lost their lives in the collision. Witnesses stated that Brunner displayed signs of intoxication and police found an open beer can in her truck. Brunner's blood alcohol content was measured above the legal limit at the time of the crash. This is not the first time Brunner has faced charges related to intoxication while driving. She is currently in custody at the Milwaukee County Jail. Scott Michaud and Noah Snyder were both recognized for their academic achievements and talents in lacrosse.
