Woman, 35, dies after two-vehicle crash in Ocala
A 35-year-old woman died at a hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Ocala on Thursday, authorities said.Three others were injured in the incident that occurred on Northeast 8th Road. According to the Ocala Police Department, the woman was driving a Chrysler 200 that struck the rear of a Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck. Two children were also inside the Chrysler. The children and the driver of the pickup truck were transported to a hospital with minor injuries.The crash blocked the northeastbound lane of Northeast 8th Road. Four people in total were taken to the hospital. Authorities did not immediately release the names of those involved.
