Witness recounts Senoia Raceway crash
During an event at Senoia Raceway in Coweta County, spectators experienced a frightening incident when a race car crashed into a fence, injuring three individuals. Michael Greene, who was recording a video for his dad, captured the moment the car veered off course and caused the victims to be thrown back. Greene described the car going up the concrete wall and grinding it like a skateboard, resulting in a surprising and unexpected crash. Although it was a shocking event, Greene noted that the fence managed to contain the car, preventing a potentially worse outcome. Two out of the three injured individuals were taken to the hospital but have since been released, while the third person received on-site treatment for their injuries. Many witnesses, including Greene, expressed astonishment at the unusual nature of the crash, with some mentioning they had never witnessed such an incident in their years of attending races at Senoia Raceway.
