West Palm Beach dismisses officers in unauthorized chase and fatal Boynton Beach crash

Seven West Palm Beach Police Department officers, who were recently arrested in relation to a fatal accident last July, have been fired. The Fraternal Order of Police has confirmed their termination and expressed disappointment with the city's decision to fire them before the legal process is completed. President Adam Myers stated that the officers deserve due process and the opportunity for all facts to emerge before any final judgments are made. The officers were pursuing Neoni Copeland, whose vehicle collided with the car carrying Marcia Pochette and Jenice Woods, resulting in their deaths. The officers are accused of leaving the scene after chasing Copeland from West Palm Beach to Boynton Beach without authorization. Stay informed with more news on the WPBF 25 News app.
