Wales team bus in accident, Euro 2025 practice called off
The Wales Women's team bus was involved in a road accident on the way to the Kybunpark stadium in St Gallen for their European Championship match against France Wednesday night. The Football Association of Wales (FAW) confirmed all players and staff are safe. The driver of the other vehicle involved sustained minor injuries and is receiving treatment. The team's training session was canceled but later resumed at their base. Coach Rhian Wilkinson assured that everyone is okay and their main concern is the well-being of the team. Wilkinson and captain Angharad James were not on the bus and have been updated on the situation. The FAW is in contact with UEFA regarding the incident. The team is now preparing for their upcoming match against France after a challenging start to the championship.
