Video reveals events before fatal accident in Beaver Falls.
A recent video depicting the events leading up to a tragic two-vehicle collision in Beaver Falls, Beaver County, has been released. This incident occurred over the weekend and resulted in the deaths of two individuals, as well as injuries to two others. The crash, which involved two vehicles and a pedestrian, took place on Seventh Avenue on Sunday afternoon. Surveillance footage obtained by KDKA shows the excessive speed at which driver Israel Tun Cooch was traveling in his pickup truck prior to the accident. Local authorities revealed that Cooch was intoxicated, speeding, and ran a red light at the time of the collision. Witnesses, such as restaurant hostess Toni Hahn, shared their accounts of the incident, highlighting the chaos and devastation that unfolded. The victims of this tragic event were identified as 23-year-old Sheylee Young-Davis and 25-year-old Matthew Lance Jr., who lost their lives, and Carrie Koch, who was severely injured. Koch, who had just finished her shift as a waitress at Athens Family Restaurant, was pinned under one of the vehicles and seriously injured. Tun Cooch, the driver responsible for the crash, has been charged with several offenses and was found to have a blood alcohol content well above the legal limit. The community has rallied together to support Koch during her recovery, with an online fundraiser and donation jar set up at the restaurant. Despite the heartbreaking circumstances, there is hope for Koch's healing and rehabilitation, with many expressing their concern and well wishes for her.
