Video: Driver dies in fiery wreck after truck hit on I-295 in Hanover

A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday in Hanover County, Virginia, where a driver lost their life in a fiery crash on Interstate 295 after reportedly being shot at. According to Virginia State Police, the crash took place around 6:40 p.m. along I-295 southbound near Pole Green Road. A white Ford F-150 pickup truck veered off the road, crashed, and caught fire after being shot at. The driver died at the scene. Authorities are currently working on identifying the driver and notifying their family. The southbound lanes of the highway are closed, with drivers being diverted off at Chamberlayne Road.
