Video captures events before fatal Beaver Falls collision
A recent video captures the moments leading up to a tragic two-vehicle accident in Beaver Falls, Beaver County, over the weekend. The incident resulted in the loss of two lives and left two others injured on Seventh Avenue. Footage obtained by KDKA reveals the excessive speed at which driver Israel Tun Cooch was traveling in his pickup truck before the collision. Police reported that Cooch was intoxicated, speeding, and ran a red light. The crash involved two vehicles and a pedestrian, resulting in the deaths of Sheylee Young-Davis and Matthew Lance Jr. Carrie Koch was also injured in the accident, with her vehicle landing on top of her. Despite sustaining fractures to her hips and legs, Koch remained remarkably calm. An online fundraiser has been organized for her recovery, in addition to a donation jar at Athens Family Restaurant. The community has come together to show their support for Koch and her family during this difficult time.
