Victim in fatal crash on Midland Bridge in Fort Smith identified
FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — The victim in a fatal crash on the Midland Bridge in Fort Smith on Wednesday morning has been identified. The crash report said a 2020 Toyota Camry was traveling north near the Midland Bridge around 6:20 a.m. The Toyota went to pass other northbound traffic in the left lane and struck a motorcycle head-on that was traveling south. The driver of the motorcycle, identified as Landin Young, 27, of Alma, did not survive the crash. No other injuries were reported. Conditions were clear and dry at the time of the crash, according to the report.
