Verona two-car collision results in hospitalization
A car accident occurred on Route 365 in Verona on Monday, resulting in one person being taken to the hospital. Oneida County Sheriffs responded to the incident at the intersection of Blackmans Corners Road around 6:45 pm. The collision involved two vehicles: one driven by Vamsi-Krishna Adusumilli, 24, and the other by Rhiannon Kaplan, 40. Adusumilli's failure to yield the right of way led to the crash with Kaplan's vehicle. Kaplan sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Wynn Hospital in Utica. Adusumilli received traffic citations and will appear in Verona Town Court. Vineall Ambulance of Oneida and the Verona Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
