Vernon interstate collision injures one
Early Sunday morning, a collision between two cars on Interstate 84 in Vernon left one person injured, according to officials. The incident occurred at around 3:00 a.m. on the westbound side of I-84 near exit 66, prompting the Town of Vernon Fire Department to respond to the scene. They found one vehicle overturned down an embankment and another with significant front-end damage on the roadway. All individuals involved managed to exit their vehicles on their own, but one required medical transportation. Emergency teams stayed at the location until a towing service removed the damaged cars.
