Verdict given for deadly accident case

In Girard, Ohio, a man from North Lima has been given a sentence which includes probation and a five-year suspension of his driver's license following a fatal crash incident. Joshua Johnston, 37, was handed this penalty in Girard Municipal Court. According to court documents, Johnston will be on probation until July 2030 and must also pay fines. The charges against him stem from a collision in November where he failed to yield while driving on Warner Road, causing a collision with another vehicle. This resulted in the death of a passenger, with another individual sustaining serious injuries. Johnston was serving a one-year prison term for a separate offense and is scheduled to be released in November.
