Vehicle smashes into Birmingham store
A beauty supply store in Birmingham is working on recovering after a car crashed into its wall over the weekend. The incident took place at Beauty Masters on Lomb Avenue in the Arlington-West End neighborhood. The collision caused significant damage to the brick wall, leaving a large hole and exposing the inside of the store. The store's owner, Samir Kader, shared that surveillance footage captured a Honda Accord speeding towards the parking space, crashing through the wall, then hastily leaving the scene. Fortunately, no one inside the store was harmed. Kader expressed forgiveness towards the driver and hopes they are safe. The store will need to temporarily close for repairs, with an estimated downtime of one to two days.
