Vehicle rolls over in Los Angeles Westside after DUI driver crashes

A person suspected of driving under the influence was apprehended after crashing their vehicle into a pole and flipping it over on Sunday night in Los Angeles' Westside area. The incident occurred following a two-car collision around 11:30 p.m. on Bundy Drive near Nebraska Avenue. Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered a turned-over vehicle and a damaged light pole. Video footage showed the driver, who seemed unhurt, sitting on a sidewalk conversing with authorities. Following a sobriety test, the individual was arrested by officers. An LAPD representative verified that one individual was detained on DUI suspicions, but did not disclose the individual's identity. According to OnScene.TV, the suspect had consumed alcohol at a Dodgers game earlier and believed it was safe to drive home. Nevertheless, authorities have not provided further details on the inquiry. While there is no update on the condition of the other driver involved in the collision, officials noted that there was no indication of anyone being taken in an ambulance from the location. Nancy Fontan from KTLA contributed to this report.
