Vehicle collision on Higgins Road close to Mt. Aukum
A single-car accident occurred on Thursday morning in El Dorado County, just north of Mt. Aukum, according to California Highway Patrol logs. The CHP was called to the scene at Mt. Aukum and Higgins roads around 5:20 a.m. The cause of the crash was not immediately clear, but the vehicle veered off the road and collided with a tree. Minor injuries were reported.
