Vehicle collides with structure at UIC campus by Congress and Racine

A car collided with a building close to the University of Illinois at Chicago campus on Monday morning. The incident involved a gold car hitting a building at Congress and Racine on the UIC grounds. Although the building did not sustain significant damage, there were visible cracks in the bricks. The car itself suffered severe damage to its front end and created a debris field around the building. UIC police were investigating the incident, but as of now, there is no information about the cause of the crash or whether there were any injuries or citations issued. CBS News Chicago has contacted both Chicago police and UIC police for further details and is awaiting a response.
