Vehicle collides with horse-drawn buggy in Adams County
A collision occurred on Friday night in Adams County when a car crashed into an animal-drawn vehicle, resulting in serious injuries. Adams County Sheriff Officers were called to the scene on N CR 300 West in Decatur, IN at 5:01 p.m. The investigation revealed that a car traveling north had collided with the animal-drawn vehicle from behind, causing the two passengers of the animal-drawn vehicle to be thrown from it and sustain serious injuries. Both passengers were taken to receive medical treatment via ambulance and are now in stable condition. The evidence collected indicates that the car driver was following too closely behind the animal-drawn vehicle, and there is no indication that the car driver was under the influence of any impairing substances. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
