Vehicle collides with Great Clips building in Evanston, IL
A vehicle collided with a Great Clips salon in Evanston, Illinois yesterday morning. Authorities reported that at approximately 10 a.m., a 2013 Subaru Forester crashed into the salon located at 2432 Main St. The 84-year-old driver mistakenly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake while parking to enter the salon, causing the collision. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the building escaped any significant structural harm. As a precaution, the salon was closed following the incident to allow crews to secure the affected windows and door.
