Vehicle collides with fireplace at residence in southeast Denver
Early on Sunday morning, residents of a home in southeast Denver were shocked to find a car had crashed through their fireplace. The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. at a residence near Florida Avenue and S. Monaco Parkway. Luckily, the occupants were asleep and unharmed. The Denver Fire Department swiftly responded, stabilizing the building. However, the homeowners will need to find temporary accommodation until structural repairs can be completed on the house. Although the vehicle sustained significant damage, no injuries were reported from the crash.
