Vehicle becomes airborne in multi-car accident in western Iowa

Authorities in Iowa are looking into a multi-vehicle collision in the western part of the state. The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon around 4 p.m. on Interstate 29, when several cars were attempting to switch lanes to avoid another accident. A vehicle became airborne and flipped over, landing in the median. Emergency services transported three individuals, including a one-year-old baby, to the hospital. Additionally, three others sustained injuries, including a man from Altoona.
