Vehicle accident in Marion County leads to one person being rescued from rock slide.

In Marion County, West Virginia, a rock slide and vehicle accident occurred early in the morning, causing traffic disruption on U.S. Route 250/Husky Highway. The incident, which was reported as both a rock slide and a vehicle accident with entrapment, occurred around 6:25 a.m. The road near Pine Grove Bridge was closed as emergency responders arrived at the scene. One person was transported from the accident. The road has since reopened, and it remains unclear if one incident directly caused the other. The Barrackville and Farmington fire departments, Marion County Sheriff's Office, Marion County Rescue Squad, and the West Virginia Division of Highways were among the agencies that responded to the scene. North Marion High School cautioned students to be careful in light of the traffic disruption.
