Vanceboro man dead in Craven County car crash
CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WNCT) -- The North Carolina State Highway Patrol assisted with a fatal car crash in Craven County Monday night. Troopers arrived to find that 80 year old Vanceboro man, Leslie Daniels Pelham, had collided with a pickup truck. Pelham was attempting to turn left on NC 43 from Clark Road when he allegedly pulled out in front of the truck, causing a collision. Pelham was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck and the passenger were treated and released.
