Van collision injures three in Schenectady

Authorities in Schenectady, New York, are currently looking into a traffic incident that occurred near Erie Boulevard and I-890. The collision happened at approximately 8:45 a.m. on Wednesday. Reports from Schenectady Police indicate that a van belonging to Liberty ARC, carrying a driver and two passengers, veered off the road where Erie Boulevard merges with I-890. The van apparently went over a slope and collided with a support column under the highway's bridge. All three occupants were transported to Albany Medical Center for treatment, with one of them receiving care for severe wrist and leg injuries. The incident is still being investigated to determine its cause.
