Urbana accident involving MTD bus on Monday morning
There was a traffic accident involving an SUV and an MTD bus at the intersection of South Maple and East Green Streets in Urbana, Ill. Two individuals were injured in the incident and taken to the hospital. According to Amy Snyder, Deputy Managing Director of MTD, the SUV failed to stop at a sign, leading both vehicles to swerve to avoid a collision. Although the bus ended up in a nearby yard, it did not hit any buildings. The intersection was closed temporarily but has since reopened. The conditions of the injured persons are currently unknown.
