University of Miami linebacker Adarius Hayes has been arrested after a car crash in Florida on May 10 that claimed the lives of three people and left another severely injured. Hayes is facing charges of vehicular homicide and recklesss driving with serious bodily injury, as reported by the Largo Police Department. The incident occurred at the intersection of Orange View Drive and Ridge Road around 1:43 p.m. between a Dodge Durango and a Kia Soul. The victims of the crash were 10-year-old Jabari Elijah Solomon, 4-year-old Charlie Herbert Solomon Riveria, and 78-year-old Gail Price, who died from her injuries the following day. The investigation revealed that Hayes was driving recklessly at a high rate of speed, making dangerous lane changes that ultimately led to the tragic accident. Hayes turned himself in and has been suspended from all athletic activities by the University of Miami. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
