Uniting to help: Colorado community rallies to support victims of dairy accident
In response to the recent tragedy in Keenesburg, Slay'd by T.J. salon in Greeley is organizing a community event to show support for the families impacted by the deadly dairy accident. The salon will be hosting a "cuts for a cause" initiative on Sunday, where individuals can visit and donate a minimum of $20. Yulissa Orquiz, the salon manager, spoke about their personal connection to one of the victims and emphasized the importance of coming together during this difficult time. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to the affected families. Additionally, there will be other fundraising events such as a car wash and a benefit dance with live music and a silent auction. The community is invited to participate in these initiatives and show their support for those in need.
