Two-vehicle collision in Dodge County results in one fatality; one person airlifted to hospital.
A fatal two-vehicle collision occurred in Dodge County on Thursday morning, resulting in one fatality and one individual being airlifted to the hospital. The incident took place on County Highway A in the town of Trenton. Initial reports indicate that a BMW traveling southbound veered into the northbound lane, colliding with a Kia Sorento SUV. The BMW driver, a 46-year-old man from Portage, sustained serious injuries and was flown to Aurora Summit Hospital by UW-Health Med Flight Helicopter. The 35-year-old female driver of the Kia, from Beaver Dam, was taken to Marshfield Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and unfortunately passed away despite medical intervention. The Dodge County Sheriff's Office Crash Investigation Team is currently investigating the crash.
