
Two Phoenix Police officers among three injured in rollover accident
A Phoenix car crash on Oct. 18 resulted in injuries to three individuals, including two police officers. The incident involving a Phoenix Police Tahoe occurred around 11:50 a.m. near 7th Avenue and Grant Street. The overturned Tahoe and the other vehicle involved were both found at the scene. Two officers and their passenger were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the second vehicle received on-site medical treatment. The police department stated that the patrol vehicle was heading south on 7th Avenue, and the other SUV, which ran a red light, struck it from the west, causing the Tahoe to flip over. Authorities do not suspect impairment played a role in the crash. The speed of the vehicles and potential charges related to the incident are currently under investigation.
