Two people severely wounded in fast-moving collision in Philadelphia

A serious accident involving multiple vehicles occurred on Whitaker Avenue in North Philadelphia, resulting in two individuals being critically injured and a third person sustaining injuries. The incident took place on Wednesday, August 13, at 2:41 p.m. in the 4400 block of Whitaker Avenue. The crash occurred when a Chevrolet Silverado, traveling at a high speed and swerving northbound, initially collided with a Honda CR-V heading southbound. Subsequently, the Chevrolet struck the back of a Workhorse truck, causing it to hit a Honda Pilot. The drivers of the Chevrolet Silverado and the Workhorse truck were rushed to Temple University Hospital and are currently in critical condition, while the driver of the Honda CR-V was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center and is in stable condition. The Crash Investigation Division is actively investigating the incident.
