Two people injured in car crash in Wallingford
Two individuals were hurt in a Wallingford crash on Saturday morning according to police reports. The incident involved two vehicles and occurred between Colony Road and Allen Avenue around 9:20 a.m. The 29-year-old female driver of a black car was traveling north on Colony Road and collided with a truck driven by an 82-year-old man. Police suspect the man may not have stopped at a sign before the crash. Both drivers are currently being treated at Yale-New Haven Hospital; the woman sustained minor injuries, while the man was initially conscious and breathing, but his condition deteriorated while emergency responders were present.
