Two killed when small plane crashes into Ohio home and erupts in flames

A small plane burst into flames after it crashed into a northeast Ohio home Thursday, killing the two people inside the aircraft, fire officials said.It happened around 3:45 p.m. in Akron. No one on the ground was injured in the crash; however, sister station WLWT reports two homes were evacuated when officials arrived at the scene. with black smoke and heavy fire seen pouring from the scene.Video from a neighbor captured footage of black smoke and heavy fire pouring from the home.The Ohio State Highway Patrol said the plane was a 1963 Piper Cherokee that took off from the Akron Fulton Airport just a few miles away from the crash site.The identities of the two people killed have not been released.
