Two killed in multi-car crash on Missouri Highway 7 Sunday afternoon

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Two people were killed and another was seriously injured in a three-car crash Sunday afternoon in Henry County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP). The crash happened around 2:55 p.m. on Missouri Highway 7 at Northwest 311th Road. According to an MSHP crash report, a 2016 Ford Taurus traveling eastbound crossed into the westbound lanes and hit a 2023 Nissan Maxima head-on. Troopers said the Maxima was then hit by a 2015 Ford F-150, which flipped after the impact. The driver of the Taurus, a 77-year-old woman from Lincoln, Missouri, was pronounced dead at a hospital. An 81-year-old man, also from Lincoln, riding in the Taurus, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan, a 54-year-old woman from Clinton, Missouri, was seriously injured and life-flighted to a hospital. The driver of the Ford F-150, a 59-year-old man from Stilwell, Kansas, was not listed as having any injuries. All involved were wearing seat belts, according to the crash report.
