Two kids hurt in Oakland car crash
According to the Oakland Fire Department, two children were injured in a car crash on Saturday afternoon in Oakland. Officials are advising drivers to avoid the area near Foothill Boulevard between High Street and 48th Avenue. The accident involving two sedans occurred in the 4600 block of Foothill Boulevard close to Fremont High School around 3:05 p.m. Emergency responders extracted the children, aged 6 and 8, from one of the vehicles.
